About
Atlas Box started as a group chat between four friends who kept sending each other screenshots of games we couldn't put down. At some point we figured we might as well write the notes properly instead of losing them in a scroll of messages. That's the whole origin story — no grand mission statement, just people who like finishing games.
We pick titles the same way you probably do: something catches our eye in the store, a friend mentions it, or a genre we love gets a new entry. Then one of us plays it end to end, or as far as the game lets you, before anything gets written. If nobody on the team enjoyed it, we say so plainly.,We care about the practical stuff — how the controls feel with one thumb on a bus, whether the tutorial actually teaches you anything, how long a session runs before your battery complains. Reviews that skip that and just count features never helped us, so we don't write them.
The site is small on purpose. We'd rather cover fewer games carefully than rush through a hundred. If you've read a guide here and it saved you twenty minutes of trial and error, that's the point.
